Business Development Representative (BDR) – targeting Managed Service Providers (MSPs) | San Francisco, Bay Area (Office or Remote)

The Role

The Business Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for supporting the sales team during the early stages of the sales cycle. This includes collaborating with the direct marketing, partners and the Sales Directors to prospect a sales territory, target and engage with new accounts and generate new discovery calls/meetings. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute outreach to prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, social etc.
  • Run initial discovery phone calls to qualify new business opportunities.
  • Articulate the iQuate value proposition to prospects.
  • Manage all contacts and leads in Salesforce.com to accurately and efficiently process opportunities.
  • Achieve quarterly New Business Meeting and Qualified Opportunity goals.
  • Research clients and markets, and produce associated reports as needed

The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a software engineer for a challenging and varied role. The successful candidate will require .NET (C#) and MS SQL development skills. The role requires someone with understanding of large scale databases with high transaction volumes and the complexities this brings.

As iQuate audits all types of devices on a network our technology stack is very complex, the primary technologies the candidates will be working on are .NET C#, Oracle and MS SQL, exposure to other database systems, operating systems and networking technologies (VMWare, AIX L-PAR, Solaris Zones, Cisco IOS, etc.) are also highly relevant.

Junior Software Engineer | Dublin, Ireland

The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a junior software engineer for a challenging development role. The successful candidate will assist the iQuate iQSonar product team in researching and implementing new features, enhancing and improving existing functionality and providing 3rd level support for customer support issues.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will report to the development manager. The key responsibilities and skills for the development role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work on new and existing application within the iQSonar Suite
  • Perform hands-on coding, trouble shooting and assist in architecting solutions within the iQSonar Scan Engine
  • Work on new and existing applications within the iQSonar Suite
  • May serve as a liaison to internal customers and various business support areas.

 

The Candidate

Reporting to the iQSonar Development Manager, the candidate will join the Scan Engine Product Development Team in providing both internal and external software releases. The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent communication skills with the ability to research application technology areas and share same between team members. As an integral part of the team, the candidate must be a team player with key attributes such as flexibility, self-motivation and a proactive attitude.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for:

  • A bachelor’s degree 2.1 level qualification or equivalent degree in a technical discipline such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Maths
  • 1+ years of experience in software development.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to continuously changing technology.
  • Clear understanding of Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures and Tiered software architecture.

About the role

The Support Engineer will be required to act as part of the Support Team supporting our customers both external and internal for a global client base.

  • Management, configuration and setup of internal environments with the iQuate LAN to support our internal business users and emulate and replicate real life customer configurations.

Troubleshoot complex IT queries and providing a rapid response, adhering to in-place SLA’s, for customer issues, calls and emails.

Skills and Experience

What we are looking for:

Job Purpose

As a key role in the company, the VP Sales role involves identifying, qualifying and closing enterprise sales opportunities within the Hybrid IT and Cloud Services space.
